Review on Jetboil MiniMo: The Ultimate πŸ”₯ Camping and Backpacking Stove Cooking System by Jason Daves

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Poor quality product - I do not recommend for real camping

In my experience the JetBoil team invests more in advertising/marketing than in quality outdoor products. I've been using isobutane stoves for a while and wanted to try this one because it looked very efficient and had some appliances that might be useful outdoors to improve cooking comfort, however the product is NOT designed for outdoor use; the quality is terrible.1. After a few uses the container broke and now it's whole at the bottom.2. There is a problem with the ignition system. It's unreliable. Stopped working after a few uses. Also, they use plastic (or plastic-like) around the ignition system and the material is completely melted. This product is intended for boiling water over low heat only. I don't recommend this for real hiking, you can't survive in the forest with just tea or hot water. Simple and cheap stoves are much better. The profitability of this product is very low.
