light weight makes it very easy to remove the broth or soup. I keep it separate from mine.
At first I replied that it was light and fragile. But after use, the light weight makes it very easy to skim broth or soup. I keep it separate from my very heavy CC cookware. I keep my paraphernalia in countertop pots, one for SS paraphernalia and one for plastic/bamboo/wooden paraphernalia. So that the skimmer is not damaged by heavy utensils. I keep the skimmer, albeit SS, with lighter harness. I would buy again. .
