So it masks the smell of pets left in the room immediately after spraying. However, it does not eliminate the pet odor for a long period of time. So if you want to quickly freshen up a room when someone rings the doorbell then yes the product will work. I can't say that the pet's smell is neutralized for several hours. I can spray the house at night and when I wake up I still have the spray. Then I light a soy candle. I have an amazing Olde English Bulldogge. I do a deep clean every weekend, but that's it; I have a pet! Much luck
