I've loved my Le Creuset Caribbean collection for years. I was apprehensive about this product after reading some of the reviews but decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did. I love the shape of this teapot. It's a bit more modern than the other models and goes well with my kitchen decor. I haven't had any of the leakage issues that others have mentioned and the handle feels cool when pouring. I leave it on the stove because it's too pretty to put away, so I didn't mind spending the extra money to match the rest of my collection. I don't leave it on the stove when the oven is on so as not to heat it up without water in it. The inner coating looks great after a few weeks of almost daily use. If handled properly and carefully, I don't think there will be any problems.
