When I first received the monitor it was damaged and dirty but after emailing UPERFECT I solved the problem and they sent me a second monitor within 3 days. The new monitor is great. The quality is excellent for the price. The brightness is excellent, 500 nits, and it's brighter than my laptop's display. I had an issue with letters and symbols on the desktop being too small to read and display. To fix this, go to the display settings and select the 2nd monitor (UPERFECT) and then scroll down to "Scale and Layout" and select 125% scaling (or other value) for the 2nd monitor. This change made a huge difference as I didn't have to go into the settings of the monitor itself and fiddle with it.
