I bought this for a 2 month old puppy. When she was 4 months old, I got another 2 month old puppy. They love napping in the bed together. They also play with it--the larger one pulls the smaller one in it around the floor. The downside is that the yarn is like grass to them, even though it is pink. I'm housebreaking on real grass outside my house and sometimes the puppies potty on the dog bed, mistaking it for grass. Thankfully, it's machine washable. This is a great bed for already house-broken dogs and an okay one for puppies if you don't mind washing it often.
