Good looking product. Lots of extras!
Yes, it's a flat metal that looks voluminous. I removed two magnets and replaced them with 3M double sided tape to attach to my truck's bumper next to my plate. The tape added depth to the look. If I had to do it all over again I would double the thickness of the tape. I wouldn't rely on two magnets holding it to the vehicle. I am satisfied with this product.
