remote control arrived on time and in good condition. I tried to buy genuine Toshiba hardware from a US site, they didn't ship it, well. Read reviews of the "new" generic version on Revain and it seems to work in most cases. Insert 2 AAA batteries and everything will work. I don't know if it will work in the long run, but out of the box the functions I use it for deserve it. There is a REMOTE sticker on the bottom. I had to partially peel it off, and it had the words TOSHIBA, CT-90325, in the same font as the rest of the remotes, for reference. It looks real but I never had the original remote to compare as the monitor tv was a used gift from my son.
