Review on Renewed 15-inch Apple MacBook Pro (Mid 2015) πŸ–₯️ - 2.5GHz Intel Core i7-4870HQ, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, Silver by Micha Dbrowski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing Ive ever used, a great item for everyone!

Before that, there was a top-end A1278 MB Pro "13 Mid 2022 (i7 / 8.0Gb / 750Gb HDD), which eventually upgraded (i7 / 16.0 Gb / 512Gb SSD). 4 years (and to this day) the old man works like a Swiss watch in the role backup car. Yes, there used to be an opportunity for an upgrade, but now, alas . And this upsets me personally. I also want to note that an upgrade in terms of SSD in MJLT2 Mid 2022 is still possible. Nothing is soldered there, as some write here. RAM yes, but no SSD. And there are already ready-made solutions for upgrading SSDs. For example, Transcend. I bought this laptop as soon as I heard that in October 2022 they will introduce a new line of MB Pro. Under the same circumstances, the previous laptop and iPhone SE were purchased. My strategy is simple: I buy only proven and fully developed top-end technologies. Yes, for a lot of money, but also for a long time. I think that's why I'm less and less disappointed with the purchase. All the best and I hope my review will help you when choosing your new laptop.

Pros
  • Hi all! I work as a department manager in an IT company. The range of tasks is appropriate. Everything that will be written below concerns the comparison with the previous (no Retina) generation of Apple laptops, which I have been using for 4 years. I took the older MJLT2 Mid 2022 with a discreet and a 512 Gb SSD. I use about a month. The laptop delivers only positive emotions. All applications start instantly. Games fly at maximum settings. I play a little, took for work. And I must say this laptop is just perfect for work. The eyes do not get tired, the battery charge is enough for 4-5 hours of operation. I also liked the new architecture of the key mechanism. Now they don't stick at all. It's nice that the trackpad began to be pressed across its entire surface. It also needs to be said that "15 diagonal decides. Previously, when working on MB Pro" 13 Mid 2022, connecting a second monitor was a vital necessity. At first, out of habit, I connected it to 15 ", then I realized that I was stupidly not using the second monitor))). Now it is on the table and gathering dust, although the ability to connect 2 monitors to a new laptop via ThunderBolt warms the soul))).
Cons
  • - Low level of maintainability. - Lack of upgrade options. - The Force Touch trackpad is still more of a toy.
