Review on Lenovo IdeaPad Processor Graphics Windows by Danuta Kasperczyk ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing I've ever used, I recommend it to everyone!

I am writing about the model 15ABA7 82RN00BFRK. In Linux (kernel 6.1) hibernation does not work: it turns off and immediately turns back on. I tried to disable everything in /proc/acpi/wakeup, but to no avail. Haven't figured it out in more detail yet. While you have to turn off the power when the laptop is not needed . fortunately, it boots up quickly, so for now it's not a big deal. Otherwise, no problems were noticed.

Pros
  • All hardware works. Linux Manjaro started up without any problems (I only had to disable the secure boot in the BIOS). Even WiFi and Bluetooth did not require any additional drivers. USB Type-C supports Power Delivery. that is, the laptop can be used as a power bank and the laptop itself can also be charged via this Type-C. But for this you need a charger, to which the Type-C - Type-C cable is connected . from a regular charger from a mobile phone (to which the cable is connected via Type-A), the laptop will not charge. A mechanical shutter on the camera is a paranoid paradise :) Although, it still won't protect against eavesdropping.
Cons
  • No ethernet. I had to buy a USB-Ethernet adapter. USB Type-A is not enough (there are only 2 of them). USB 2.0 is occupied by my mouse and one USB 3 Type-A remains. For USB Type-C, I don't have devices that can be connected. Hibernation does not work on Linux. But this is a software problem, because. Sleep mode works in Windows.
