mmm yes not worth the price at all

Mmm. Okay, first of all I don't know why I bought this and felt it was a waste of money. A little pricey for what it is; It's actually easy to make one of the tree scraps. Good, it works. something like that. My problems relate to the following: 1. Too expensive for a piece of plastic. I want my return date not to have passed or I would send it back2. The pen doesn't want to stay inside like it should. Somehow, and this may be user error due to hard pressing, I keep breaking the lead in my pencil. 3.a. You'll need to apply some pressure to ensure the ends stay on the board. That means you're in trouble if you're not working with a perfectly cut piece of wood that's flat and flush on all sides. 3.a.1. I finish my own forest; Buy raw material and make planks because it's MUCH CHEAPER, especially for hardwoods. However, due to the rough edges, it doesn't work as it should. 3.a.1.i. I don't want to make the boards first and then split them because then I've probably just wasted wood that could have been used for other purposes. So what's good about that? Think maybe worth pennies in the material. and it costs $18.00. do not know what I was thinking to buy that. doesn't make my life any easier, and knowing that I threw away $18 on this junk really doesn't sit well with me. You know I can't say everything well. Even with straight boards you have to be careful and I really don't think that's any more accurate than the actual dimensions and markings. It's just not worth it. You can literally make this thing out of scrap wood, a drill, glue and a few short pieces of dowel. I just don't think it's worth the cost and I really don't find it useful.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
