2010 Prius - Not a good fit

For a 2010 Prius, the fit just isn't right. I had WeatherTech liners in my last Prius (2004) and they fitted perfectly. If I'd never seen what it looks like I might find them acceptable, but they're only marginally cheaper than WeatherTech, so the difference in quality is too big for me. I checked their customer service again and Revain sent the model they listed for my 2010 Prius 4 (98922 for grey) but when the box arrived it was clearly marked 2012-2014 Prius. I think they may have made one to match 2010, but when 2012 came out they stopped making one for 2010 and think it's close enough. If you want to do it like that, then you should tell the people! If you look at Weather Tech's website, they make two different models for these two different generations of Prius. The rear seat bolsters fit very well, but the front bolsters have a couple of mismatched landing points - as other reviewers have pointed out - you should remove the floor clips, I suspect the bubble that was made for this means that's not the case for 2012 . 2014. But for 2010 the bladder isn't too small for the clamps, they are in all the wrong place (see pic with factory mat clamp holes)! Okay, remove the clips, you won't need them anyway, but the other place that doesn't work is the gas tank latch cutout. That doesn't make it useless, but it's shorter by about an inch. Aside from these fit issues, there are a few other things I don't like. They're thinner and more flexible than Weather Tech, although I think they're durable enough that I wouldn't return them for that reason. They have spikes on the underside to keep them from moving, which literally makes handling them tedious. WeatherTech ear tips don't have them and aren't needed if they fit properly. I don't think the color is right. I have gray leather seats that are a different color than the carpet and the lining adds a third shade of gray to the interior. I personally don't care, but it's a bluer shade of gray than carpeting, which is a warmer gray, so it doesn't look right. Maybe gray fits better on a 2012-2014 Prius? None of those other features put me off enough to return them, and if I had a 2012 Prius I'd probably keep them, but due to 2010 fit issues, I'm going back and getting weather techs. Other reviewers claim they fit a 2010 model perfectly, so maybe I'm stretching the bar, but is it possible they were sent another model that was actually made for a 2010 model?
