Review on πŸŒ… Winshine Touch Wake Up Night Light: Sunrise Simulation Alarm Clock & 3 Ways Dimmable Bedside Lamp for Kids, RGB Ambient Table Nightstand Light with Snooze Timer Mode and Sleep Aid by Lancy Rakesh

Revainrating 4 out of 5

More like headlights than sunrise.

In my opinion, this dome light has a few disadvantages. It's easy to set up, but "Sunrise" is a very white light when it's at its brightest. I wake up halfway through the time set on the alarm clock. That's about 15 minutes of a 30-minute light fade. You can just tap the top once to put it in repeat mode, but I find you have to turn off the backlight at the bottom, which is annoying. This usually causes the lights to come back on and disturb my sleeping partner. If you don't turn it off after another 15 minutes, it turns on at maximum brightness and it's like a spotlight. I understand that it should be light when you oversleep, but I want to turn off the alarm clock earlier without turning it off from below. Another problem, as mentioned, is that the lighting time is too bright, which also causes the dome to glow a little at night. I can block it easily enough, but then I can't see the time in the middle of the night. I've tried several layers of blue cellophane tape on the numbers but ten layers is still too light, even bright blue, at night. I think to return.

Cons
  • Not everything fits
