Review on πŸ’ Apeks RK3 Military Rubber Fin: Enhanced with Adjustable Stainless Steel Spring Straps for Maximum Performance by Kenneth Witte

Revainrating 3 out of 5

But I like the idea of the shorter fins because I like them.

I really wanted this pair but I usually wear women's trainers and 8.5/9 heels because I have wide feet. Even with a butt size 8 for women (7 for men) the medium was too big for me and they don't make a size smaller and I think they are only made for men. But I like the idea of shorter fins because I don't have the strength to row long strokes. If they were smaller I think they would work great for me. I really wanted them because of the spring around the heel, I chose the elastic straps which worked really well because the adjustable straps are not easy to put on in the water and I lost some of the adjustable straps when I hit low tide, which is where I am not sure if springy or elastic cords will do, but the springy ones that fit my boyfriend well, he didn't lose his anyway. The bottom line is if you put your fins on land then the adjustable straps the fins to the boat if you get your foot wet, a closed heel works fine but you don't have booty but an open heel spring/elastic cord works good if you have to walk over rocks from the shore to get to the sea and then you have to put them on in the water. One thing my friend mentioned about springs is that they are not replaceable where the elastic strings can be replaced if needed. Not sure why they need it, maybe they lose elasticity over time.
