Delicious until the salt covers the plate.
It's charming, I'll keep it in my office as a trinket, but it's no good for salt. There is a minimal friction point to keep the top on the bottom, so you should use the salt like a salt shaker, not a shaker. Peppers are most likely fine for shaking, but it's unlikely that any of the guests will guess that you need to shake one and open the other. Without a tighter closure, people are likely to *oversalt* their food.
