Review on Fumoto F103S LC 10 Lever Engine by Richard Muncy

Revainrating 5 out of 5

2003 Toyota Camry V6 3.0 LE / 2007 Toyota Corolla S

Runs fairly easily and hasn't leaked after a few months. I haven't drained the oil yet so can't tell. A bit pricey but very satisfied so far. Update 11/30/19 - Finally drained the oil to work with the car, used an old oil container and clear plastic hoses and it all worked very well! Draining takes a little longer than just the "loose drain plug" method, but it's no big deal; this is not a race. ;) updated 10.10.20. It's been about 2 years since I installed this valve and I haven't had any leaks or problems with it. updated 04/14/21. I just installed another of these valves on a 2007 Toyota Corolla. because it has become so much easier to change the oil in my Camry. FYI, the size of both cars is the same. was well fixed on the nipple of this valve. I think I'll do that now as the clear tube might come loose if I accidentally brushed the tube. For reference, the old detergent container had a thick enough plastic that the hot oil wouldn't melt the container for about 7 minutes after the previous ride; I wouldn't attempt this with those flimsy 1 gallon plastic milk containers as the hot oil will likely deform the container and leak. I usually use old oil canisters but this time I tried this canister as it seemed more durable and I needed to quickly empty it after a ride. It is safer to drain it after the car's engine has cooled, but this is not always possible. I had to raise the front of the machine to allow the laundry bin to fit underneath.
