Review on Dow Automotive U-418 Beta Seal Black Glass Adhesive by Jerry Frey

There was a problem with the adhesive on the windshield of my van. Glue will not stick to glass. My guess is that the installer didn't use a special glass primer. I cut off so much old glue with several different knives and applied Betaseal. I was surprised at how easily it came out of the cartridge with a regular caulking gun. It was also very easy to straighten. The repair (originally considered temporary) continues today, a year and 4,000 miles later. So no primer required and my advice is to slightly heat the sealer in a water bath if you are working at lower temperatures.
