I have had this monitor since December 2017 and it has been a great purchase. At first I only used it when traveling and for that alone it was worth it. That's a huge performance boost. I've been using it a lot more lately when going to work elsewhere now that I usually work from home. I had to buy a better stand and cable to make it more versatile, but those were small additions. This is why 4 starts instead of 5. The "stand" is a body and has very delicate valves to hold it in place. If you work somewhere very stable like a hotel room you'll be fine, but I still typically drop the monitor once or twice a day. When working outside the home in random places and cafes, the "rack" becomes useless. I bought a cheap portable tablet stand and it works great. The included cable is tiny and unusual. This works if you hold the monitor to the right of the laptop and the laptop's USB-C port is on the right side (e.g. Mac Pro), you will need a longer cable. It is Micro USB 3.0. It's easy to buy from Revain, but it's hardly something you already have (even if you're like me and a bunch of cables). USB power delivery is great; Just a cable and no batteries.
