The lid is a better design than the previous one I had. The only downside is that the silver side is moisture permeable. Due to its humidity, it is impossible to fold it up and put it in the car to take it with you during the day. Two coats don't dry well. Others I've had didn't let moisture in and you were able to dry trap the moisture inside your car. It's worth my five cents.
