Review on Dorman 955 1788 Mitsubishi Extendable Replacement by Russ Charmin

Didn't expect to become such a regular customer but I park on the street and my car has been swept sideways 3 times in the last 3 years and one broke at the car wash. 🤬 This mirror is just as durable and works just as well as the original. To be honest, the OEM design is not very good because the mirror does no harm, so it is not difficult to break it. But this works too. This mirror is at a great price and delivered quickly. I think most will probably be able to install it themselves with a little patience and some help from YouTube. Removing/replacing the door panel is the trickiest part (unfortunately requires access to the wire and connector). The last one took me about 30 minutes from start to finish. But as I said, I had a lot of practice. 🙄It is only available in black and can be repainted immediately. My car is gray and I was planning on repainting it the first time, but I had to get it installed right away so I could get back on the road. Unfortunately the second side broke off after about two weeks in the car wash (again a very bad OEM design). So I ordered another one, put it on and decided the black looks great with the grey. That's good too, because I'll be replacing another one pretty soon. I recommend this seller and product!
