Not recommended unless you want to swear.

Microcrack in the metal on the side wall flange. I used it on a pedestal sink and it's leaking. Tightened, flowed out. Another wedge has leaked. Rubber seal leaking. As a result, I decided that the matter was in the metal and looked very closely. wasted a lot of time and frustration, especially at the pedestal sink! Got 17ga everbuild from hd, dried up on first try
