I bought these for my grandkids and younger daughters to use around the ranch and they love them. Especially the call function, which just makes a loud noise on the other end. They have decent range and ease of use. The audio is pretty clear until you get too far away and then it starts to break up. They are made of hard plastic that should withstand normal play. I recommend them for children.
