Review on Mount 4 Inch 20 Female Threaded 1 Inch GPS, Finders & Accessories by Rob Madden

Perfect for building your own mount

I bought a Rugged Ridge '07-10 Dash Multi-Mount with Phone Kit' for my 2009 Jeep JK that comes with a short and fairly flimsy phone holder. My Pixel 3a even fell out of a pothole, which isn't great for off-road use. The dash phone holder has a 1/4" threaded hole at the top of the mounting point so you can screw something else directly onto it and leave the existing phone mount in place. In my case I used a Grifiti mount to replace it. the top holder and just screwed it in when I had my position where I wanted it, so I now have the option of using it for another small device as well as a passenger phone. "RAM Double Socket Arm" and "RAM Ball Adapter with 1/4"-20" threaded hole for "TACKFORM Motorcycle Phone Mount - 1" Ball Connection", the has a dead grip and makes it easier to see Not much to say about this ball The rubber texture offers amazing grip and after a few months of bouncing over rough terrain it didn't budge and I didn't tighten anything.
