Typical ram mount ball, lots of options where and how to install. Use it to hold the Phone X-Grip on your 1 inch arm. As others have pointed out, you can see some rubber on the metal body.

Doesn't look like the picture. There are traces of casting on the metal rod. It has sharp metal ends that protrude. The gum is not even. His gum falls off. It doesn't look like the quality in the picture.

This product, although small and inexpensive, has been installed and removed. The finish of the aluminum bolt was ruined with pliers. I was able to send it in so didn't return it, but it wasn't advertised as 'used'.

My only concern is that since it's aluminum and not steel, the threads might come loose, but I'll update this review if there are any issues.

My car already has a phone mount with Ram x mount. This bullet adapter allows me to put my phone on a tripod to take timed shots. The frame mount system offers many ways to hold phones. I also have a ram system to keep the sonar off the boat.

I expected this product to be new. The label on the box said 'New' but the ball had obviously been used before and there were pincer marks on the rod. The shank was torn to the point of becoming rough and sharp. Very disappointed. See the picture of the unopened packaging! Follow up: I traded the first ball I discussed above for another try. I bought a Rugged Ridge '07-10 Dash Multi-Mount with Phone Kit' for my 2009 Jeep JK that comes with a short and fairly flimsy phone holder. My Pixel 3a even fell out of a pothole, which isn't great for off-road use.
