This is a reliable replacement filter for Honeywell humidifier that requires an HC-14 filter. It works just like the original, maybe with more bandwidth. My humidifier seems to empty faster, which I attribute to more water getting into the filter. This is an advantage. However, the filter does not absorb water as easily as original Honeywell filters. I mostly look at non-OEM products when they are cheaper than OEM products. These filters are more expensive than Honeywell. For this reason I am deducting a star. A good filter but more expensive than the original Honeywell with the same characteristics. I would check the prices of both and go with the cheaper one. Both of them do it excellently.
