There are snow feathers in the room!

I bought this for my 4 year old daughter but she never made it into her room for fear of swallowing all those little feathers. I've washed it twice and it's still blowing out tiny feathers (almost like dust) even with a little movement. Imagine breathing it in while you sleep. It is hazardous to health! And why are most feathers black on the inside? At one point I even felt a stick-like branch. I've used duvets most of my life and this is by far the worst. I'm stuck with a blanket that can't be used!
