One day I may put the router in a virtual machine and use the remaining capacity for another purpose. My old router is now just a wireless access point. I spent the first floor in my house with cat. 6 with Keystone wall panels and converted existing wall openings into media outlets. YouTube has great instructions for installing network cables. It's amazingly simple. Media and voip are now connected discreetly. The router is in the basement and there are no more snake pits upstairs. I no longer need complicated WiFi setup.
