The stand is stable and fairly easy to assemble. All parts were there. All screws, nuts and bolts were well tightened. Levels work well. The way the stand piece is attached works pretty clever. It's hard to think of a speaker that can't be attached in one of the possible ways (unless you're trying to attach a speaker that's too big or too heavy). Not the most elegant thing I've seen, but for $45 it's acceptable. A few minor downsides. Depending on your speaker, accessing the wired connections can be a little tricky. I had to remove the speaker from its stand to install the cable. However, my mounting configuration uses a single wing nut to remove the speaker from the stand. The height isn't adjustable, but 32 inches is a great height for an average living room.
