I bought these stands hoping they would work with some speakers I bought around the same time. I received the stand only to find that once assembled I can no longer use the banana plugs I bought with the stand. As you can see in the picture, banana plugs will not fit if your speakers have plugs in the center of the speaker that are very close together. Used to install a pair of Klipsch R-41M. While assembling the stand wasn't difficult, there were few speakers. Had to work around this as shown in the attached image. A major disadvantage is the clogging of the opening to start the speaker and the inability to use banana plugs.
