Review on TorchStar Certified Ultra Thin Can Killer Downlight by Richard Lamptey

I bought 16 of these bulbs to replace the fluorescent lights in my basement. Half of it has a false ceiling in the family room and bedroom. The other half is an open ceiling used for my hearth and utilities. I bought a ceiling tile hole saw and it worked great. In the exposed ceiling area, I cut out a few pieces of 12" x 17" ceiling tiles and attached them to the underside of the floor joists. They were so bright I only installed 12 of them and left 4 in the 'spares' box. . Of the 12 plugs I installed, only one had problems with correct plug placement. With a few minutes of "kind persuasion" I was able to install it right there! I'm just amazed at how much light these lights give off. To soften the light in the living room and bedroom I installed a dimmer each. special value. At my age, I no longer worry about walking up the stairs to change lightbulbs!
