Review on 🚀 Spectre Performance Air Intake Kit - Boost Horsepower & Torque: 2011-2019 DODGE/JEEP (Durango, Grand Cherokee) by Corey Singh

All in all a very good unit for the price. High quality materials, shiny tube. Looks cute compared to the old airbox and extra cameras. It's clearly a great value compared to K&N and others and is a lot cheaper than the Mopar CAI but inferior to the Specter. It took 45 minutes in total (should have been a lot quicker. See #3 below). Improvements I would suggest for the Spectre: (1) Improve the assembly instructions so the bracket that attaches to the frame and heat shield is more visible in the pictures. . Nothing can be seen in the provided pictures. (2) Resize the heat shield to better fill the space/move the leading edge to the left to capture as much incoming air as possible and (3) the bushing/sensor installation was huge. PITA BREAD. This step alone took more time/effort than all other steps. The inner circle, IMHO, is too small for the sensor. And yes, dishwashing liquid etc. can help. but the sensor is notched and for that reason this step is unnecessarily problematic. Once you receive it, you will wonder if it will last. The sensor does not reach to where the factory o-ring channel is located.
