Check all sockets before installation! I had folded the tongue incorrectly (pictured) which resulted in the bulb shorting out and blowing a small fuse. And yes, under the cap in the plug is a small fuse. You will save a lot of time and effort in checking outlets. Not to mention repeat purchases. I had to order a pack of small fuses because I couldn't find them locally. The contactor on the underside of the connector must be bent parallel to the end of the rivet. If it is at a 90° angle to the end of the rivet, push it in. Of course this is cordless.
