Not very useful as all baseball events have been canceled or postponed since the item arrived. I think this would be a good quarterback for my 10 year old who plays both travel and league baseball. I like the extra padding on the sides and lower back. Of course, as a mother, I want to protect my child as much as possible. It might throw some wild throwers, so when he turns around and smacks one on the lower back I feel good with that extra padding. He's quite a small/skinny kid and of course I'm a mom who wants him to be safe. fits well, and I think it will fit next year (which is good because unfortunately I'm not sure if it will be widely used this year). I have a hard time ordering clothes online that fit him. He is 10 years old and weighs about 60 pounds. We have the medium one and the small one would probably fit more snugly than his others, but it's still not so big that he can't use it.
