I needed another 5 foot section from my table saw to the dust collector (1250 cfm) so I ordered it. It's too light and too flexible. When sucking, it folds in on itself and you have to pull hard to lengthen it. You want some stiffness in the hose so it doesn't compress when sucking, yet still be flexible. It is pictured next to my old air hose which is 25 years old and has no signs of wear. The wire of the old hose is about 50% thicker and the PVC about twice as thick as the new hose. I will order industrial grade from McMaster Carr which is $51 for 5ft and will return this lightweight hose.
