. wear a hat) but I decided to give it a try based on the good reviews. To put it bluntly, I am very .

I don't really like headbands (I usually wear a hat) but based on the good reviews I decided to give it a try. To be clear, I'm a very heavy sweater and wanted these for running. I was looking for something to keep salt out of my eyes and was hoping it would work while running. I found it a bit pricey for a group but it's ok if it works. It looks good and I liked how thin it is and I liked the concept of the sweat-wicking strap. I've found that this doesn't work for more than 25-30 minutes on a warm day. If you don't sweat a lot or exercise less intensely, you'll probably be fine. I probably would have taken advantage of the offer for a refund but I used it for a 5 mile race and then lost it installing it on the roof of my car at the end of the race. My biggest problem is that the band doesn't stay tight enough when stretched and sweat flows through it when it gets wet. This strap has no adjustment so it just doesn't sit tight enough on my head. I see they have an adjustable hat that uses the same concept. I was considering trying this but wanted to try a different product before going down this route as it is also quite expensive. I ended up buying this set of straps which are cheaper and fit me better. During a long race I'll probably take a spare band with me if it gets too crowded. If you don't sweat a lot, you'll probably be fine with that. Here's what I use now if it helps anyone.
