Works great but leaves a permanent mark

This is my only band that I use for both running and cycling. The little yellow stripe on the inside that wicks sweat away from your eyes also leaves a ridiculous line on your forehead (probably what they call a "halo"). I would be fine with the queue being only 15-20 minutes, but it can be longer than an hour, which is not ideal if I have post-workout social activities. It expands over time and doesn't go away until it finds a line, but then it doesn't work either. It's still better than other

does exactly what it's supposed to do

I usually ride my bike about 1.5 hours a day. I usually have to splash water over my eyes after 45 minutes because the sweat burns them. I rode the Halo headband today and I never had to splash water in my eyes. She did exactly what she had to do. The sweat poured out of my eyes. As you can see from the picture, it fits your head very tight. I suspect that this must be the case for it to work properly. I have also ordered some other cheaper products and the Halo material looks about 10x thicker

4.5 stars. Works well under a bike helmet with a small flaw

I use it for mountain biking. Sweat had pooled on the front of my helmet and was beginning to drip onto my sunglasses, blocking my view. Now I wear it under my helmet and I can work longer without sweating. It's not perfect and not sure how much it actually weathers, but it's an improvement. The downside is that it barely fits under my helmet. It's not very thick, but that extra bulk around my head adds up. I have a small scale on the back of the helmet to tighten or loosen the fit. Now it's…

Cheap copy Accessories

I would give zero stars if I could. As stated in the description, it must be a Halo II pullover sweatshirt. This is clearly not true. This is a piece of sewn lycra. No SweatBlock technology (seal that wicks sweat away from the eyes). There is no dryline fabric on the inside. Because it's a plain piece of Lycra, it doesn't have antimicrobial activity as listed on the Halo website. The Halo II headband is just 2 inches wide at its widest point, making it easy to wear under hats and helmets. This…

After 1 day does not stay in place and does not slip!

I had very high expectations for this headband. I was looking for a good bandage that would NOT slip off and stay in place. I've spent hundreds of dollars on headbands trying to find one that stays in place, stays in place, and keeps sweat out of my eyes. After receiving this item, I was very satisfied when I put it on for the first time. It was very firm, stayed in place and didn't slip. I left it on for a few hours and then took it off when I went to bed. The next day I put the bandage on and

User Review Riding a bike with a helmet

Not much different than wearing a rubber band on your forehead. I bike 5-9 hours a week in the summer and this product keeps sweat out of my eyes so it really deserves 2.5 stars. The problem is that it hurts to wear - the elastic, which redirects sweat, digs into my forehead and it's distracting and uncomfortable. I've tried positioning the tape under my bike helmet in a variety of ways, some positions bite badly, some bite a little, but they all bite. So far I could only last 45 minutes before

The best headband!

I was concerned about some of the reviews that mentioned fake tapes. Fortunately, at least in my case, I received the product described. Honestly, I don't think I can do without it for outdoor sports in the summer. I tend to sweat profusely, especially in the Texas heat and even more so in Louisiana due to the humidity, it's like working in an oven. It gets to the point where I can barely get on with my routine because my eyes are sweating and it stings like hell. Sometimes I ran with my eyes…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

I don't really like headbands (I usually wear a hat) but based on the good reviews I decided to give it a try. To be clear, I'm a very heavy sweater and wanted these for running. I was looking for something to keep salt out of my eyes and was hoping it would work while running. I found it a bit pricey for a group but it's ok if it works. It looks good and I liked how thin it is and I liked the concept of the sweat-wicking strap. I've found that this doesn't work for more than 25-30 minutes on a
