User Review Riding a bike with a helmet

Not much different than wearing a rubber band on your forehead. I bike 5-9 hours a week in the summer and this product keeps sweat out of my eyes so it really deserves 2.5 stars. The problem is that it hurts to wear - the elastic, which redirects sweat, digs into my forehead and it's distracting and uncomfortable. I've tried positioning the tape under my bike helmet in a variety of ways, some positions bite badly, some bite a little, but they all bite. So far I could only last 45 minutes before I stopped moving away, preferring the sweat in my eyes and on my glasses. I think it might work better for running. UPDATE: Rating increased to 3 stars. Too tight at first but loosens up after a few months of use. That's just not enough for me to sweat profusely on the hottest mountain biking days. Driving on the road on a hot day is good for about 40 minutes until it gets busy, and then if I call every half hour it's ok. It mostly works fine for me under about 84 F.04/2020 UPDATE: It should be noted that I ordered another one; After the initial stretch, they are comfortable and tolerate light sweating while cycling. I can ride my road bike in 90F for about an hour before having to switch to a new one. Durable enough as I still use the original.
