Maxpow Compatible with Hyundai Santa Fe Lifting Gate Bars work better than the original. I removed a post by removing 2 clips (one behind each pin on the frame) and separating each end of the post from the mounting ball; I cleaned each of the two ball studs and then applied some chassis grease to each ball; put some chassis grease in the holes at each end; and planted each end on the corresponding sphere of the frame; Then I took the rod out of the hatch, opened and closed the hatch 4 times; I then used a cloth to wipe excess grease off both ends of the post; I repeated this process for the other rack. These racks came on my 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe GLX with no speakers in the trunk and they fit perfectly. I highly recommend these stands.
