This bag has a good square base which means it can carry larger items lying flat. However, the sides shouldn't go up very far, so anything you put inside should be fairly self-contained (like a backpack or tote bag). I also want the sides to be reflective so when you get on the bike you improve your rear visibility. The front end is taller, but that doesn't help much in traffic. I have an old Green Guru bag with white side panels that I love, but most of their new stuff seems to only come in black.
