Much better than the original
2003 GMC Envoy kept giving gas cap leak codes. After spending a lot of money on diagnostics and buying 3 gas caps from a GM dealer for about 5 years, I finally settled on this one (and a cheap code reader - Autel MaxiScan MS309 OBD-II Code Reader for less than $20 at Revain ) My problem solved ! However, it doesn't have a plastic cord, so you'll have to hold onto it while pumping gas.
