--Update -- I received my refund, ordered and received a new monitor, so as promised, here is my new review. Okay, here's how I'm going to explain it. For the price, size, and technical capabilities, I'd say this is a win. I had no dead pixels, I turned on adaptive sync and it works fine, and with the display port I can run at 144Hz (tip: don't use HDMI). The ODS is basic but functional, the brightness is great, the dark shadows are dark and I really can't see any trace of light behind the screen. As for the cons, the viewing angles are okay, but not great. Make sure it's right in front of you wherever you are. You put it and not at an angle. When you enable HDR and some very bright windows are mixed with dark ones, I noticed some flickering, so don't expect it to be perfect HDR quality. Overall good value for money. Coming from a 1080p Samsung monitor and using it for both productivity and gaming I can honestly say it was worth it. As for durability, I've only had this replacement for about a week, I'll update again in 6 months if there are any issues. -- Old Review -- The monitor arrived on time which is nice. Unfortunately, as soon as I removed the cloth/foam case, I noticed dark green warping in the center of the screen and immediately connected the device to better understand the damage. As you can see from my photo (ignore my toe), there is a fairly large vertical crack in the middle of the screen. If you look at the box that the device came in (second photo) you can only see a small tear at the bottom of the box. This either means that the device was damaged during packing at the warehouse, or that the foam packing material used to protect the screen during shipping was clearly insufficient. To add insult to injury when choosing a return, there is no replacement option or cross-shipping option. You can choose to only receive a refund, and that refund will only be issued after the device has been returned and inspected. I will update my review as soon as I receive the replacement unit or my money back depending on customer service (speed).
