Review on Aviano Large Room Air Purifier with 7-Stage Filtration System (up to 700 sq ft.), Includes 2 Replacement Filter Sets by Tracy Grant

I'm an AV integrator and bought this to provide peace of mind for my clients. Mine came with an extra set of filters that I wasn't expecting, so that's nice. I have also worked as a respiratory therapist for 28 years so am well versed in airflow, HEPA filtration and UV hygiene. Of course, the devices I worked with were medically suitable and approved. I cannot expect this item from Revain to live up to these high standards. Also, I have no way of testing the effectiveness of this product. I've used about 8-12 hours so far and haven't tested the filters. All I can say is: - It looks nice and professional - The fan settings aren't annoying noisy, no more than a typical Walmart box fan. - Easy access to the filters - Same size as an AppleTV or ROKU remote - Lightweight and easy to lift and carry thanks to the molded handle. - The first time he worked at my house. It took about 30 minutes for red to turn green. The second time was at a client's newly built home theater. It only took a few minutes to go from red to green. Unfortunately I missed a BIG opportunity to try another client two days ago. They both smoked non-stop while watching us work. Her house was the dirtiest I've ever seen. Literally years of accumulation of dust, cobwebs and hair from two German shepherds. Thank god I was wearing an N95 mask. I didn't take Aviano inside as I expected to be there less than 30 minutes. I'm afraid if Aviano worked, this evil house would probably fill up all the filters and overload the circuitry (just kidding). I can't say anything bad. I just can't answer the effectiveness, whether it actually disinfects the atmosphere of the room or just "snake oil cure" in a nice white box. When I have more information I will update this review.
