Review on 🎮 Enhanced Gaming Sensation: Mayflash W010 Wireless Sensor DolphinBar for Wii - Unleash the True Wii Experience! by Pete Deutsch

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works fine BUT: LEDs are too bright, stand uses an uncomfortably sticky base, cable is too short

3 major issues caused me to downgrade this from 5 stars to 3 stars; However, if you're worried about Wii controls and Dolphin support, everything works fine. #1: LEDs are too bright. It's 2 bright blue LEDs that can't be dimmed or turned off and the entire case is clear plastic. Very unsightly, forces me to hide the bar when not in use rather than just leaving it. #2: The base is terribly sticky. Nintendo was right to use 4 small rubber feet on the bottom of the original sensor bar and each of these feet were small but grippy and easily got into awkward spots. This sensor bar comes with two large rubber pads that stick like glue on one side and stick on the other side. This means it's too sticky and makes it difficult to move at best. #3: The wire is too short. I need this wire to be about 2-3 feet longer than it is. I had to buy a USB extender to get it on my desktop. The wire is about 4 feet long, which may be fine for some setups, but not for me. For these reasons I downgraded the product to 3 stars as it was a short-sighted design decision that could easily have been resolved without much effort. any price increase. However, if you're just interested in making it work with your Wii/Dolphin controller, it works very well and using a regular non-Dolphin sensor bar is definitely recommended.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Useless features
