Wasted purchase so far

I bought this to use with the dolphin emulator because of all the positive reviews but I've had no luck getting it to work. I immediately checked the updated firmware (the updater didn't even recognize it at first). Tried using dolphin over bluetooth for a real wii remote, got an error. I found a guide on how to update drivers on libusbK and went through it. The errors disappeared, but although I synchronized the remote control with the dolphinarium in mode 4, the emulator did not recognize it.

The Perfect Dolphin Companion

I'll start by saying I have a Wii. However, with my Core i7 4790k and Radeon 7970, games look MUCH better on the Dolphin than on the Wii itself. And it's the best touchpad you can get to make everything work. Wii controllers can be a bit picky about which Bluetooth adapter they want to pair with, especially Motion Plus controllers. This panel has a built-in Bluetooth controller, so you don't even have to worry about it. Many other touchpads don't have the correct placement of the IR LEDs that…

3 major issues caused me to downgrade this from 5 stars to 3 stars; However, if you're worried about Wii controls and Dolphin support, everything works fine. #1: LEDs are too bright. It's 2 bright blue LEDs that can't be dimmed or turned off and the entire case is clear plastic. Very unsightly, forces me to hide the bar when not in use rather than just leaving it. #2: The base is terribly sticky. Nintendo was right to use 4 small rubber feet on the bottom of the original sensor bar and each of…

RetroPie gamers use port 1 or 2 to succeed!

Bought a year ago. When I first got it I followed several online instructions and videos but couldn't get the Wii Mote to work with the trigger and button A. No matter which emulator I used, the result was the same. At the time I didn't really feel like it was a dolphinarium so I didn't return or refund it. So I decided to put the wrench aside and come back to this daunting task later. Due to the pandemic and trying not to get distracted, I tried again. Same problem again. So I started…

Eating batteries, tedious setup

Pain to get started with my Raspberry Pi 4b. This is not due to the hardware, but to a complicated setting in the emulators, since some Mame emulators do not work with it. When run in a mode that registers the wiimote as a mouse it works, however it only works with ONE wiimote in mouse mode. For multiple wiimotes to work with light gun games you need to use mode 3 or 4 (I don't remember). BUT you MUST also have nunchucks attached to each for the IR sensor to register as an analog input. Sounds…
