I like this doorstop because it effectively prevents the door from touching the wall and is very heavy. The heaviness is good in that it helps my children (ages 5 and under) distinguish this from a product that is NOT a toy. They know it can't be moved and they don't want to do it because the weight will require them to work on it. We've had it for several months and a similar one for almost two years (the first wasn't bought from Amazon). As well as being functional, it can also be a pretty decorative piece and is made from a very durable fabric.
