The remote control manual is rather weak

The remote control manual was wonkey. It means moving the code switch to the down position and then pressing and holding the "Learn" button; Good that there is no code switch on the remote control. You will need a very small Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw that secures the remote's slide-out battery cover. Be sure to purchase separately and put a button cell battery (CR2032) in the remote control, otherwise it will not work. The Revain's description says it doesn't include a battery, but that's easy to miss. The rest of the device was easy to install and worked great.
