Well the lighting is decent, especially for the price, but the remote, which is the only way to control the lights, barely works. You need to be close and at the right angle so that there are no obstacles between you and the receiver. I liked the timer function best. These lights come with no instructions so I have to assume it's as simple as turning the light on and pressing the "timer" button which should engage an automatic 6 hour on/18 hour off cycle . I've tried all possible combinations, but the timer just doesn't work. The light never goes out. Finally, as others have pointed out, untangling them for installation was a nightmare.
