Waste. Literally. In a month in the trash. This bike stinks. Here's why: I bought this to teach my kid to ride a bike. What could be a better bike than the Mongoose?! I mean it was an AMAZING bike when we were kids. Apparently not today. After unpacking and reassembling it, throwing away the huge box and taking it with me for a few workouts, I realized something was wrong. Am I assembling it wrong? So I took a closer look. and found that both the fork and frame were bent. The top cross member of the frame was actually welded slightly to the right of the bottom making it UNBALANCED for my child to ACTUALLY SIT ON THE BIKE. Damn. I felt terrible. Solution: Went to a bike shop, bought a bike that just was, and now we ride bikes like champions. First time on a decent bike for a kid was day and night. Dear Manufacturer: No, I do not wish to be contacted and no, I will not film this review. Your things are garbage. Bring it together. mongoose? More like a lousy bike company with a cheating idiot dumb enough to buy this junk bike company sticker. Does it rhyme? No, I don't care. Your things are garbage.
