The leg is better than the original with a little modification
This is a strong awning leg, much stronger than the original because it has a stainless steel pin instead of the metal pot like the original. Now if you're buying this as a replacement for the 8100 series, beware! The rivet holes must not match the awning bracket. That's not a defect, this foot isn't designed for this hand, but it's better than the old one. Simply drill new holes in the awning bracket, attach with a new rivet or long bolt and nut. Next time my tent is taken down there will be a big storm and I'm sure my camper will sail away before the tent leg breaks!
