I have a "vintage" truck that doesn't have built-in Bluetooth, let alone Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. I bought the same device a few years ago under a different brand but the buttons stopped working and I wanted to pause, repeat and skip the song. I bought this because it's cheap and follows the principle "You can't teach an old dog new tricks". Ironically, the BTID is still the same, C26S. I use two USB ports to power the dashcam and charge my phone. This is NOT a fast charger, but it will keep your phone going while listening to ringtones and Google Maps. Advice. There are many brands of the same device; go shopping at the best price. Tip: If you notice noise: 1) Switch to another channel in case of possible interference. 2) Set the maximum volume of the device and control the output volume on the radio.
